The Pedal Together Program is Kent Bicycles’ team-building and charitable giving initiative. We offer bicycles and support for organizations or corporations so that they can host team bike build events and donate bikes to their chosen charity. We can also furnish the same to Churches, Youth Organizations, or other community impact programs for their events.

Any organization can purchase a Pedal Together program including corporations, nonprofits, schools, universities, churches, clubs, and community groups. Whether you have a small team, a large company-wide event, or an entire community festival, the program scales to fit your needs.

After you connect with us, we help you choose the right bikes and quantities. We ship everything to your location along with basic instructions and optional tools. Your team assembles the bikes, enjoys the team-building experience, and then donates them or uses them for your event.

Yes. Kent can provide helmets, pumps, locks, and a variety of other bicycle accessories as part of your Pedal Together program. Our team will work with you to recommend the right accessories to complement your bike order and your event.

No bicycle experience is needed. Kent bicycles are designed for easy assembly, and we provide clear instructions. Many teams complete each bike in less than 20 minutes.

We offer a wide range of bike types and sizes to fit different needs and audiences. Most organizations choose 20” bikes because they are highly accessible and ideal for children ages 6–12, making them a great option for many community and donation-focused events. In addition to 20” bikes, we have multiple sizes and styles available, and our team will work with you to help select the right mix of bikes to best match your event goals and the people you’re supporting.

Yes. You’re welcome to choose your own charity, or we can help connect you with reputable nonprofit partners who welcome bike donations.

The standard lead time for Pedal Together programs is 30–60 days, which allows ample time for planning, coordination, and logistics. That said, many events can be organized and delivered in 30 days or less. While additional planning time is always helpful, our team is experienced in working quickly and will do everything possible to support your timeline and event needs.

Most events are self-guided, but depending on location and group size, we can possibly recommend a local bike shop or mechanic for you to contact for final assembly inspection or similar

Costs vary based on the number and type of bicycles ordered, accessories ordered, shipping distance, and any optional add-ons such as lift gates and exact time or remote deliveries. We provide clear pricing upfront with no hidden fees.

Tool requirements vary depending on the bike models selected for your event. Most models include basic tools, but others do not. Once your bike selection is finalized, the Kent team will clearly communicate whether tools are included and, if not, will help you identify the tools needed to ensure your Pedal Together event runs smoothly.
